The curriculum combines ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements with the internal-audit discipline of ISO 19011:

- Management system requirements — documents and records, actions to address risks and opportunities, corrective action, and internal audit.
- The internal audit process per ISO 19011 — planning, conducting, gathering evidence, recording nonconformities, reporting, and follow-up.
